1949, a further place got suspicious, Castle Hartenstein in the Erzgebirge. One says the Amber Room has been brought to the castle on unknown ways in 1945. On April 20, 1945 the castle was the target of the American Air Force dropping bombs. It totally burned down and only ruins remain.

This hint has been followed repeatedly, but even the most intense research and chemical analysis brought no positiv result. The Amber Room has never been on the castle...
