Paul Enke
Author and East Germany´s Amber Room hunter
#1 |

for many years, Enke was
searching for the Amber Room and other lost art treasures under the
regime of the former "STASI".
He wrote a report about the Amber Room titled "Bernsteinzimmer-Report",
which today is still the best book ever published about that subject. His
editor was Mr. Günter Wermusch and his boss was Mr. Günter Seuffert. Two
editions of the book have been printed, almost 100000 in total. Enke
died on a heart attack during the work on his TV report about the Amber
Room.
